Sales Executive NYC

Resonate Networks, a revolutionary online audience targeting company, is building an elite team of accomplished, consultative Sales Executives in our New York office. Resonate is the only online ad targeting company today that is able to connect brands with their consumers based on shared values, attitudes and beliefs. Our Attitudinal Targeting technology has developed significant traction with customers and investors alike, positioning Resonate Networks for tremendous growth in 2011 and beyond.

The successful candidate will "think like a brand marketer" and have a strong affinity for research data and consumer insights to compliment traditional online advertising and media planning expertise.

Through your deep relationships with prominent agencies and consumer brands, you will position Resonate Networks as an innovative thought leader in the next evolution of online advertising. Through Attitudinal Targeting, Resonate Networks is evolving marketers’ expectations for online advertising from the standard, transactional and direct response model, toward campaigns that build brands based on shared values, attitudes and beliefs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of your territory/assigned target clients – from lead generation through successful deal close
  • Development and execution of a well structured, strategic territory plan
  • Clearly articulate (verbally and through written communications) the Resonate Networks product offering and value proposition of our Attitudinal Targeting offering
  • Implementing a consultative sales process by gaining a deep understanding of each customer’s campaign strategy, message and goals, and determining where Resonate Networks Attitudinal Targeting products can achieve maximum impact
  • Collaborate with the Resonate team to communicate customer requirements and devise innovative applications of our targeting capabilities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasting, sales plans, and other required reporting to sales management as requested

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate Resonate Networks’ Attitudinal Targeting products to a diverse set of agency and consumer brand advertisers
  • Successful track record of at or above quota performance selling innovative online media solutions, ideally for a media company with strong research, data and audience insight to go along with significant advertising scale.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong business acumen and the application of creative thinking to the sales process
  • Well established, verifiable relationships within the interactive media space, especially in NY.
  • Familiarity with the processes of online advertising campaign development and execution.
  • Understanding of various advantages and trade offs for online campaign pricing and success metrics (e.g. CPM, CPC, conversions)
  • Basic knowledge of rich media, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and ad serving technologies
  • Ability to develop professional, written documents and client presentations
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
