Marketing Manager

A successful candidate for this position will have 5+ years of digital account or media experience in an agency or brand marketing group.  They are smart and see the limitations of the industry and want to make a difference. They are adept at all social marketing strategies, SEO and most web analytics packages. They have experience managing email programs. They are detailed oriented and totally comfortable with technology.

Now the hard part: this candidate is a very good writer.

This candidate is seeking the kind of career growth only available at one of the hottest start ups in the country, and certainly one of the hottest in the Washington, DC area. They are a “self starter”, but know they have more to learn every day.

The position reports to the V.P. of Marketing and has significant career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage on-going optimization of the web site, using analytics to prove results
• Manage the marketing social strategy
• Collaborate with team members to develop ideas for new marketing opportunities
• Be the point person for the development and distribution of marketing content across all outlets from Twitter to PR releases
• Manage and edit the monthly email
• Oversee the budget
• Possess high standards, energy and aspirations
